Meals are always delicious and never disappoint. Pretty good service and dining as well. My mom worked here for years so the employees were like another family. I can't wait for the next time I go in.

The bathrooms were dirty there was crap all over the bathroom I would never eat here again

I recently ordered take out from Da Vinci's. The chicken parmigiana subs we got we terrible. The chicken was extremely dry, there was next to no tomato sauce, and barely any parmigiana cheese. It was inedible. This restaurant used to be pretty good. It has gone way down hill.

DO not eat in this restaurant? The service is deploreable and the food is poor. Many other restaurants to suit your taste are nearby

Service was excellent Ryan did a great job and the busboy was all over it. The food a little blah but it is a older crowd. There sauce had no chunks of tomatoes in it which made me believe it was canned or there pizza sauce made up a little. I had the chicken piccata flavor was blah portion was embarrassing. Tiny 3 little pcs of chicken for $18 it cost them maybe $1 for the chicken on that plate. Suggestion give more especially when it is chicken understandable if it was veal but really. We eat out every Friday and there is not many choices in the area but we will not return. Sorry not worth the money.

We went last night. Saturday for dinner. Very few people and I thought restaurant chilly so we ate outside. There was an argument going on and finally someone acknowledged me. We sat outside and a very abrupt/rude waitress came. I told her this was our first time here and she asked us 2x if we needed a menu. My husband said something like if you are at a new restaurant don't you need a menu. I.looked at my husband and I said lets just leave..we never let a bad waiter/waitress ruin our night. All of a sudden a new waitress came out! The old one.(young girl)'left in a huff. New waitress was nice..I think Erica. We both had veal parm and we're connoisseurs of it! Skip it. It wss just ok..ziti was not booked enough sauce was ok..great salad and balsamic dressing. Husband had Cesar said it was excellent and both very fresh. Bead was good too. We shared a canoli for desert..wasn't made there but it was good. We had a Groupon thank god. I.think we added a few dollars and tip. Too much else around that is fantastic. Won't be going back. I.hope they work out their differences. It's very embarrassing as a customer to see this..bus boy was nice too. Jennifer g

What a gem. We had the muscles in white sauce. They were very meaty and flavorful. Pizza is good w sweet sauce and plenty of yummy cheese. I had the Tilapia Vesuvio (sp.?!) and WOW!! A nice thick cut of tilapia with a marriage of flavors Of red peppers, capers, and artichokes! We also got the cheese ravioli which was slight flavorful homemade sauce. I LOVE Italian food and this was pretty spectacular and I'd definitely come again!

Chicken parmesen was very good! It was so tender and juicy, I barely had to use a knife to cut through it. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the sauce was well flavored. I also had the linguini and clam pizza, which was better than it usually is, and I was pleasantly surprised! We will be back.

I went and took out a pizza, it was very good full of cheese and sauce, that was unexpected. so there pizza was good it was a Monday night. I see they have a problem when you see one waiter and a couple of helpers. what shocked me the waiter was also cooking the orders in the kitchen. the question is how will they survive at this rate. I know there main chiefs have left and those delicious Italian dishes of past are no longer eatable.

Went for lunch and we were surprised to be the only patrons at 1pm. Linguini in clam sauce was good. Veal parm was passable. Red sauce too tart. I expected a lot more from this restaurant. No better or worse than most of the other Italian restaurants in the area.

I went there for an alumni function for lunch with about sixty persons in attendance. It is located on a large shopping center with adequate parking. There was a large room in the front where most people seemed to be eating specialty pizza. We were in the large room in the back. The food was better than average. The staff was attentive. We were charged 30 dollars which I assumed covered tax and tip. We had garlic rolls (very good) soup or salad (large soup portions) and a choice of salmon veal or chicken. Coffee and desert ( 2 small cannolis) I would try it one evening as a family dinner

We just left DaVinci's after an 'okay' dinner. Sorry to say it, but it wasn't great. We were met by a gracious waitress who was very accommodating (as I am handicapped & require an additional chair.) This dinner wasn't meant to be a culinary event - frankly, we are visiting my parents ( who eat dinner at 5:45 ) & I just wanted a fast Italian dinner, nearby, that WASN'T a chain à la Olive Garden & the yelpers were helpful. You get soup or salad plus regular & garlic rolls with each entrée. I ordered Pasta Fagioli & asked if it was a little thick (the way I like it). Waitress said 'not really' but she could 'make it that way'? My husband ordered the house salad. The rolls were so hard, & had been reheated that we tried cutting with fork & knife. The waitress replaced them with four new garlic rolls, which, though I LOVE garlic, were simply too drenched in a tasteless oil & fresh chopped garlic (2 TBLSP remained in bottom of basket!). They also served the rolls with a few portions of SALTED butter ( a travesty!), & they had no sweet butter available. The house salad with Creamy Italian dressing was uninspired, and the dressing was not, in my opinion homemade. The soup, so thick, was more of a bean soup, with little hint of anything but beans. No seasonings (perceived), no carrots or other ingredients. I found a few pasta tubes at the bottom of the generous portion, but neither of us were too happy with soup or salad (or rolls!) I was happy to see that they offered "combination parmesan" entrees, where I chose chicken & eggplant parmesan. You can also get veal parm with eggplant parm or even get all THREE. My combination surprised me by being atop one another, not side by side as I had imagined. I couldn't see which one I was going to taste as the entire oval plate had two huge sections covered with a continuous topping of melted cheese. The chicken was a bit dry, but the eggplant cutlet was cooked perfectly - & neither was greasy. The side dish of angel hair pasta with marinara sauce was properly cooked, but a little too light on the sauce. And, again the sauce needed some seasonings added (I used some garlic from the rolls!) Good thing my husband had way too much sauce on his side pasta! Inconsistency was a problem. My husband ordered a dish of homemade sausage with some peppers - I didn't taste his, & he's never critical, but when we left, I said "well?" & he replied "I wasn't impressed" which for him is a negative. We didn 't have coffee or dessert. The bill for two entrees with two iced teas was $42.50 + tip for an even $50 bucks. Too much money for any next times. Just think, we each have half a mediocre dinner brought home, so I can re-do-heat-cook to my/our liking. I'm already thinking...? Fresh basil, a little oregano, a pinch of cayenne pepper, ...

We ate here with some friends tonight, March 17, 2015. It is the first time we have been to this restaurant, it was recommended to us by our friends who were with us tonight. First, let me say that the waiter, Yohan, was very nice and accommodating. My friend and I both ordered the minestrone soup and shrimp parmesan, My friends wife and my girlfriend both ordered the eggplant parmesan, my friends wife also had the minestrone soup. The minestrone soup was virtually tasteless. The shrimp parmesan was obviously frozen breaded shrimp that was heated up and they melt some parmesan cheese on it and poured sauce over it. There is no way this was fresh or home made. You can simply tell by the taste and texture it was a frozen dish that was heated up. Both my girlfriend and my friends wife could not eat the eggplant parmesan. They said it too tasted as if it was frozen and reheated, not only that, is was mushy. They both returned their dinners. My girlfriend did not want anything else, but, my friends wife elected to have the chicken marsala. When that came, she said that too tasted terrible, though it was hot. She ate part of one piece and asked her husband to try a part of one piece, he too agreed it was not good, so, she returned that also. When the bill came, they did take of the two chicken parmesan meals, but not the marsala. The waiter said that the manager stated he was not taking off three meals. My friends wife asked for the manager who came out, with a bad attitude. He said she ate the one meal (chicken marsala) so he was not taking it off the bill. After speaking to the waiter, the manager learned that indeed, 90% of the meal was returned. A heated argument developed between the manager and my friends wife. My friends wife asked to speak to the owner and the manager said he was not there. Finally, the manager said he was taking the marsala off the bill. A few minutes later, the waiter returned with the bill and the marsala was still on it. The manager then argued again that he was not taking off the marsala. My friends wife stated that she was not going to pay for it, and, would, if necessary call the police. The manager said he would tell the police that we were not paying for the food and file a complaint. I stated that we should let the police come and make a report, then, if the manager refused to take it off, pay the bill and file an action in small claims court. Finally, a waitress came over and said she would resolve the issue, which she did. But, as it turned out, the "manager" was really the owner, and, the waitress was his wife. So, the "manage" was really the owner and lied to us. A truly professional restauranteer would have taken off the meals that were returned and asked us to please give then another try, which we would have. Now, he has annihilated us and we will never go back. Not only that, our friend call the restaurant a couple of times a month for pizza to take out. Our friends said their pizza is alway very good, so now, they have lost them as customers also. The owner simply has to know how to treat his customers, and, if the meals are returned, even is one or two bites are taken, he cannot insist on charging for the meals. We paid for the two lousy shrimp parmesan dinners and gave a very generous tip, 30% to the waiter. If you want good Italian food in Boynton Beach, try Mama Mia, there food is 1000% better.

Went with a friend who dines there regularly. He and I shared the Zuppa de Pesce. We got it with whole wheat penne because we are both trying to eat healthier. The seafood was fresh and flavorful. This dish includes a lobster tail. We paid extra for an other tail each. The sauce is homemade and tasty without being acidic. The portion was enormous. My wife had the lasagna, which was meaty and flavorful, and my friend's wife had the chicken Frances's which was also delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. All in all, a very good dining experience. We'll be back. My friend says the veal chop is also excellent... Update... They catered a function at our clubhouse this past Saturday. Food was excellent. There was salad, rolls, chicken Francese, eggplant parm, 2 pasta dishes. Everyone was happy.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
